EXCLUSIVE: Speaker Mike Johnson Hires DeSantis Donor and Big Pharma Lobbyist as Policy Director

Newly elected Speaker of the House Mike Johnson is already showing signs of what to expect from his tenure as House Speaker. While styling himself as a MAGA Republican, Johnson has appointed Dan Ziegler as his policy director.

Federal Election Commission (FEC) records show that Ziegler made a $1,000 donation to Ron DeSantis for President in June 2023. There’s no public record of Ziegler donating to President Trump’s 2024 campaign. This assignment by Mike Johnson, plus his glowing accolades for Kevin McCarthy, cast doubt on Johnson’s status as an America First, MAGA Republican.

This is not the first time the two GOP operatives are working together. Ziegler was the executive director of the Republican Study Committee, while Johnson was its chair from 2019 to 2021. Since his time with the RSC ended, Ziegler has been busy as a lobbyist for Williams and Jensen with a long list of nefarious clients.

Politico reports that Ziegler lobbied for many Big Pharma corporations, including Pfizer, Merk, Snofi, Owens & Minor, Eli Lilly, Novo Nordisk, PhRMA, Amgen, and Elevance Health. Ziegler isn’t just in bed with Big Pharma. He also lobbied for financial giants Visa and Vanguard Group.

Ziegler is also an alum of Heritage Action for America, a lobbying group linked to the nominally conservative Heritage Foundation. Former Heritage Action leader Michael Needham called Donald Trump a “clown” in 2015, former Heritage Foundation adjunct scholar Dov Zakheim endorsed Joe Biden in 2020, and Heritage made Vice President Mike Pence a distinguished visiting fellow from 2021 to 2022.

Robert Weissman, president of the consumer advocacy group Public Citizen, issued a scathing statement on Ziegler’s new position. “It turns out that one of the biggest winners from the House Republican meltdown is Big Pharma,” Weissman said. “This appointment puts to lie Speaker Johnson’s claim that he is a big believer in ‘free markets.’ He has just placed in charge of his policy shop a lobbyist for an industry whose business model is based on abusing monopoly power...Ziegler’s resume disqualifies him for the job. Speaker Johnson immediately should reverse this hire and find a policy director free of Big Pharma or corporate conflicts.”

American patriots who were hopeful about Mike Johnson being a better Republican leader than Kevin McCarthy should be cautious. The appointment of DeSantis donor and Big Pharma stooge Dan Ziegler to policy director indicates a possible resurgence of the never-Trump movement in the GOP.

Judge Merchan’s Conflict Of Intrest Overshadows Michael Cohen’s Tuesday Testimony In President Trump’s NYC Trial

Judge Merchan’s conflict of interests took center stage in President Trump’s New York City trial on Tuesday. When Trump entered the courtroom, he was joined by Vivek Ramaswamy and Speaker Mike Johnson. Before entering the court, Trump spoke about Judge Merchan’s conflicts of interest. During testimony, Michael Cohen sounded like a teenager telling Judge Merchan and the jury that he uses TikTox to vent about President Trump because he is “under a lot of pressure.” Outside the courthouse, Vivek and Speaker Johnson also spoke about Judge Merchan’s conflict of interest. Laura Loomer exclusively reported that Judge Merchan’s daughter, Loren, is the partner and part-owner of Authentic Campaigns, a firm whose “featured client “is the Biden-Harris Campaign. Tuesday showed that no matter what the Left does, Judge Merchan’s conflicts of interest will continue to shine through to the American people.

As he entered court, President Trump said, “I have been here for four weeks in an ice box listening to a Judge that’s totally corrupt and conflicted.”

When court began, Michael Cohen admitted during cross-examination by Trump’s defense team that he used TikTok because he was “under a lot of pressure.” Cohen had been selling dolls of President Trump in an orange jump suit on the video app during the trial.

Vivek, who joined President Trump in court, made a brilliant analogy outside of Trump’s trial saying, Imagine if it was Joe Biden on trial, you had a Republican Judge, whose son was collecting millions of dollars as a Republican operative.”

Speaker Johnson also spoke of Judge Merchan’s conflict of interests due to his daughter’s firm, Authentic Campaigns, making money from the Biden Campaign.

Judge Merchan’s conflicts of interests became even worse following Laura Loomer’s post reading, “Today, New York Democrat Congressman Dan Goldman @RepDanGoldman went on @MSNBC and said he has “deposed @MichaelCohen212 and met with him a number of times to prepare him” for the trial which is being overseen by Judge Merchan in NYC. Cohen is the prosecutors’ “star witness”.   Rep. Dan Goldman is a client of Loren Merchan’s Democrat consulting firm, Authentic Campaigns. Why is a member of Congress meeting with a felon who committed perjury?   This is a MAJOR CONFLICT OF INTEREST, and Judge Merchan needs to immediately RECUSE HIMSELF from overseeing the Trump trial!”

screencapture-twitter-LauraLoomer-status-1790421892853100798-2024-05-14-18_03_31-edit.png

Loomer previously reported that screenshots show Judge Merchan’s daughter, Loren, has an X account that reshared a photo of her speaking at an Authentic Campaigns event, an organization she is part-owner of. A zoomed-in photo shows Merchan’s @LorenM426 handle flashing behind her on the podium. An X post from Authentic Campaigns on January 9th, 2020, stated that Authentic Campaigns was “excited to announce that Loren Merchan is being named partner and part-owner of Authentic Campaigns.” Loren Merchan’s X account, @LorenM426, shared this announcement.

Authentic Campaigns’ website lists the Biden-Harris campaign as its “Featured Client.” Other clients of Authentic Campaigns include Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Rep. Ilhan Omar, Governor Gavin Newsom, Adam Schiff, and the Wisconsin Democratic Party.

Tuesday showed that the American people will continue to see the truth about Judge Merchan’s conflicts of interest. The Left is powerless to prevent the truth from shining through.

Michael Cohen Lies Again As Texts Contradict Cohen’s Claims That Trump Tower Moscow Negotiations Continued Into June 2016

As Michael Cohen told more “gossipy tales” at President Trump’s trial on Tuesday, we decided to look back at Cohen’s past lies. On November 29th, 2018, Michael Cohen pleaded guilty in the Muller Investigation to “lying to Congress” about Trump Tower Moscow negotiations continuing past January 2016. Cohen initially told Congress that the Trump Tower Moscow negotiations ended in January 2016 before changing his story and telling Muller that the talks had gone on past January 2016. As it turns out, the texts from Michael Cohen to the Russian Company Cohen was in contact with for the Trump Tower Moscow project show that Cohen ordered a cease and desist on the project on December 30th, 2015, just like what Cohen initially told Congress. So why did Cohen change his story? President Trump’s tweets from Cohen’s “guilty plea” date in November 2018 confirm what’s on Cohen’s text messages. Cohen’s Trump Tower lie is just more evidence that what Cohen states in President Trump’s New York City trial cannot be viewed as credible.

The Russian company Cohen was in contact with on the Trump Tower Moscow project was angry when Cohen ordered the project to end on December 30th with the messages reading, “I have invested a lot of personal political capital, time and energy into getting this done and am not sure what to do at this point. But I guess I should have expected it. Should I be stopping my efforts, as you are aware everyone is out till after New Years. Should I be telling my people to cease and desist?”

Cohen replied, “Yes.”

Screenshot-1563.png

In the same text exchange, Cohen angrily repeated his request to end the Trump Tower Moscow project: ” So I’m telling you for the last time, the second I get back to NYC, I am on my own and will demand that you cease from all conversation regarding this project, and I will send a termination regarding the LOl.”

The December 30th conversation ended with Cohen requesting that he not be spoken to again about the project, “I call bullshit across the board. You’re rightnot going to argue with you. Please don’t reach out to anyone any longer regarding this.”

IMG_9066.jpg

Cohen originally told Congress the version of events that his texts supported. Then, Cohen changed his story, informing Robert Muller that the Trump Tower negotiations had gone on past January 2016, despite his texts showing otherwise. So why did Cohen change his story to a lie?

President Trump’s tweets on the Trump Tower Moscow project read just like Cohen’s text exchange, ” Oh, I get it! I am a very good developer, happily living my lifewhen I see our Country going in the wrong direction (to put it mildly). Against all odds, I decide to run for President & continue to run my business-very legal & very cool, talked about it on the campaign trail…..Lightly looked at doing a building somewhere in Russia. Put up zero money, zero guarantees and didn’t do the project. Witch Hunt!”

Michael Cohen’s tower of lies regarding the Trump Tower Moscow project is more proof that the jury should take whatever Cohen says in Trump’s New York City trial with a grain of salt.

Election Integrity Alert: Georgia RNC’s Committeeman Jason Thompson’s Ties To Fani Willis, Brad Raffensperger, And Dominion Exposed

Many have wondered how Georgia, a state that is supposed to be under Republican control, has fallen to the Left’s election interference scams consisting of drop boxes and political prosecutions. Most Trump supporters place rightful blame on Fulton County DA Fani Willis and Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. But who empowers these individuals? The answer lies with Georgia RNC Committeeman Jason Thompson, whose wife, Julianne Thompson, and daughter, Victoria Thompson, have received over $300K in payments from Raffensperger’s office since 2020. Even worse, Julianne Thompson’s 2020 payment from Raffensperger was also tied to a no-bid contract with Georgia’s Secretary of State Office and Dominion. The Thompson family scandal deepens as Fulton County DA Fani Willis infamously subpoenaed Victoria Thompson in her “get Trump” investigation. It is believed by many in Georgia political circles that Victoria Thompson was critical in helping Raffensperger “set up” the infamous phone call between Trump and Raffensperger, which is one of the driving forces DA Willis is using to “get Trump.” Georgia RNC Committeeman Jason Thompson has been in power since 2018. What happened in 2020 and beyond in Georgia can not be allowed to happen again in 2024.

According to records from the Georgia Department of Audits & Accounts published in the Georgia Record, Julianne Thompson received $105k in 2020 via a no-bid contract with Georgia’s Secretary of State Office and Dominion.

Julianne Thompson also received a $45k payment in 2020 from Raffensperger’s Office.

Screenshot-1557.png

In 2021, Thompson’s daughter, Victoria, started receiving payments from Raffensperger’s office, and then in 2023, both Victoria and Julianne received payments from Raffensperger’s office. One could say that working for Raffensperger has become a Thompson family affair.

Screenshot-1559.png

Screenshot-1558.png

Payments and connections to Dominion are far from the most disturbing connections the Thompson family has with Raffensperger. Thompson’s daughter, Victoria, was subpoenaed by Fulton County DA Fani Willis in her “get Trump” investigation. Victoria was subpoenaed due to her work in Raffensperger’s office, which was centered around President Trump’s December 2020 phone call with Raffensperger, which is one of the driving factors Willis is using in her prosecution of Trump. The AJC covered this story, writing, “The special grand jury issued subpoenas for the testimony of Ryan Germany, the general counsel for the secretary of state’s office, and Victoria Thompson, who was an executive assistant during the elections and is now legislative liaison.”

Screenshot-1560.png

Many in Georgia’s political circles suspect Victoria Thompson worked with Raffensperger to “set up” President Trump via the infamous phone call. Raffensperger once quoted one of President Trump’s tweets about their phone call, falsely responding to Trump’s justified criticisms of Raffensperger for not securing the vote in Fulton County by falsely posting, “Respectfully, President Trump: What you’re saying is not true. The truth will come out.”

Screenshot-1561.png

Fani Willis’ Fulton County Grand Jury Report on her Trump indictments states that Victoria Thompson played a key role in scheduling Raffensperger’s phone calls.

image_123650291-2024-05-14T131142.659.jpg

One of the most important jobs of the RNC Committeeman is to secure his state’s votes. Jason Thompson failed to secure Georgia’s vote in 2020 and, worse, had family members complicit in lowering the standards of Georgia’s election laws, which empowered drop boxes and eventually Fani Willis’ “get Trump” prosecutions. Thompson can attend all the Mar-a-Lago events and election security conferences he wants to, but the facts will stay the same. Georgia will not have a secure election with Jason Thompson serving as the state’s RNC Committeeman.
